This weekend’s turf was important for a lot of reasons but one of the most important reasons is one that many people didn’t know about. For those of you who were wondering who that team was that hit the Drama Kingz and had them on the ropes for most of the second events were.. this should put some smiles of faces game wide.
The following names are the people who were racing on this team that had the defending champs worried for most of the weekend.

These racers from all over the world came together for one reason and one reason only, to make a difference in the battle against cancer.
United they stood racing side by side trying to earn vehicles that they would in turn without hesitation turn around and sell for money to donate to the American Cancer Society.
They built cars knowing the end game would be a loss of funds with all their effort and investment going towards a war that has affected so many of us and our families. I personally have lost multiple family members to cancer and my mother is a two time cancer survivor so that made this effort and this team all the more important to me. Being able to cover them and their effort this past weekend was nothing short of amazing to me.
Each moment as the team carried on was like watching a group of individuals who were so determined to complete their goal that it left me remembering what it was like to play sports where you count on the support of your team mates to get you through the rough patches. Each time someone was down another came to their support to pick them up dust them off and get them back racing.
When the dust finally settled unfortunately the Drama Kingz were able to pull off one of their long heralded third day come backs. But this is in no way considered a failure. This is even more so a victory because in a moments notice they went from a team with one to a team who competed all weekend long. They fought lag and bad launches and yet still held all but one challenger at bay while murdering the competition. The United should stand with their heads held high while remembering all those who have passed due to this horrible sickness and know that for one weekend for one turf.. they did all they could in their memory.
If you happen to see or know of a UNITED4THECAUSE racer ask them if they have sold their vehicle yet. There are still a few trying to sell their car to help contribute to the cause so any assistance at raising funds for their mission is greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all who took part in this awesome weekend and thank you especially to Jirh and Oscar for allowing me to be part of this amazing event.
